Sewing Machine?
By admin | October 12, 2011
I have been looking at sewing machines for about a month or so, and I need some help on choosing what machine to buy. I have narrowed it down to two machines myself-
Singer Advanced: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3926138
Singer Ingenuity: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/allReviews.do?product_id=4698206
What I’m looking for in the machines: (not machine features)
is that they are easy to learn, they can sew clothes, and that they are portable.
I AM a beginner, and if you think you know a better machine for me please tell me what.
THANKS!

I have been told to look at Brother Machines. I looked at some a so far I have found 2 that look nice.

Brother 66 Stitch: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4764726
PLUS: I came up with a better descpriction of what I want. Here it is,

Sewing Machine?

I am looking into buying a sewing machine. It does not have to be anything fancy, but at the same time I expect it to be reliable, easy to use, and create high quality products. I will be using to mostly make clothes (I’m into starting fashion design). My budget is $300 and I would love to hear from those who are experienced with sewing (links would be appriciated but not needed.)
~thank you

i want to go to college for fashion design at Parsons or FIT
I’m just learning to sew but I’m fast at it and have help so I’ll be good enough to sew up a dress or anything in no time.
I need a great electronic sewing machine (I heard it’s better than basic but cheaper than computerized ones). Any help here? Anyone know a good sewing machine that will last that is valuable and not too expensive? I need one fast because i need to sew up a couple of outfits for this conference
any help would be amazing. thank you!

How to get most out of my sewing machine?
By admin | July 31, 2011
I have mainly made clothes with patterns on my sewing machine and I am not yet good enough to make my own patterns and I don’t know much about altering patterns to fit. I want to get interested in my sewing machine again. What are some best ways to put the spark into my sewing machine without spending much money?

How do I sew small circles on my sewing machine?
By admin | July 20, 2011
I making polka dot Christmas ornaments out of felt, and I’ve cut out small circles, about the size of a quarter. I’m having trouble sewing them neatly with my machine. Is this possible? Or do I just have to sew them by hand? I’d appreciate any tips!
