Anyone know about the Dressmaker sewing machines Model SMW 1000?

By admin | August 15, 2010

Atreyu & Kyla’s Mommy asked:

I’m looking for a sewing machine and I found a used Dressmaker Model # SMW 1000 that they are selling for $25. Does this sound like a pretty good deal? I know it’s a bit older, but some sites I’ve researched say the older Dressmakers are good machines. Anyone know anything about this model?

Try giving it a test run before buying. You also need a manual for it.

Repair and maintenance can be expensive….enough to purchase a newer machine from a sewing machine dealer.
